OPTION-II


To create fice groups (A.B.C.D.AE) to accommodate the qualified candidates against each department with range of marks for each group detailed in Table (Page 1421


(All the departments have been divided in five groups)


The marks range /cut off score for the five groups has been proposed as under:


Group A: 70 marks and above


Group B: 65 marks to 69 marks


Group C: 60 marks to 64 marks


Group D: 55 marks to 59 marks


Group E 50 marks to 54 marks


The applicants while applying for job, will give the choices/preferences


of the department as per position-wise The candidates having marks range as per group wise will be given department on the basis of choice/preference made by him while applying for the job


If any candidate gets equal marks, he /she will be assigned the


department as per date of birth and elder will be given priority


If no candidate gets the highest marks as per marks range, he /she


will be given the preferred department from top to bottom at minimum


cut off score of 50 marks


The test has been designed on paper pen based MCQs of one and half hour to assess general ability of candidates. The weightage has been distributed as 40% for English, 20% for mathematic and 40% for general knowledge.


OPTION-III (Department wise recruitment test process)


Each Department will contact the Sukkur IBA /SIBA Testing Service for recruitment process After signing of MoU, the concerned departments will publish


the advertisement and STS will receive the applications for further process After conduct of test, the results would be announced. The cut-


off score will be 50 marks and merit wise result would be uploaded and shared with concerned department


. The candidate securing 50 score will be eligible for interview/further recruitment process by the concerned department.


The test paper will be based on MCQs of one and half hour to assess general ability of candidates in English, basic math, general knowledge & subject (as per post). The weightage has been distributed as 20% for English, 10% for Mathematic and 10% for general knowledge/current affairs and 60% for subject (as per


position wise) 15.4


The Chief Minister Sindh informed the Cabinet that the proposed test is screening test for all the department & the candidate may apply for all the departments from BPS 5 to 10 all the test shall be aptitude test even from BPS 11 to 15 It was further directed that citing all the concerns the test shall be conducted in three levels as follows


Matriculation Test


o Intermediate Test o Graduation Test
